A Teacher's Wisdom!
Come on and join in and share your WIT and WISDOM from all the years you have been a teacher. We all started at some point and should probably send a "sympathy" card to the very first class we ever had. So share some of your fabulous wisdom and join the fun!
Thank you so much for this linky party! As a first-year teacher this upcoming school year, I really appreciate the opportunity to take in all of the wisdom the blogging community has to offer!

That's So Second Grade
After a decade of teaching, I still feel like I learn something new each year. My advice for first year teachers is simple. First, ask questions; never assume. If you don't know the answer to something, then ask. It is the same advice a teacher would give a student and it works just as well for newbies. Also, try not to stress over things that didn't work out as planned because you can always trash an activity or revamp it to make it better next time. Lastly, treat each child as if she/he were your own, and don't allow parents or other teachers to intimidate you! BTW....take bathroom breaks any chance you get....lol
ReplyDeleteDarn it! Didn't see this in time to link up..but you can see my advice at http://crazydazeinfirstgrade.blogspot.com/2012/07/linky-party.html
