How to Verify Your Blogger Blog with Pinterest!

Yes, I tried back in November 2012 to do this "verification" process with Pinterest for my Blogger blog and it wouldn't work for me at all.  I even tried it again this week and it still would not work for me no matter how bad I wanted it to.  So, I went to the internet again to see if I could find the answer and I finally found it.  Here is the video from Bonnie Frank on YouTube which I have embedded for viewing if you are interested in getting that little "red and white check" beside your Blogger URL on Pinterest.

I hope this helps some of you out who have been trying as much as I have to get your Blogger blog verified.  Let me know if it worked out as easily for you as it did for me.
REMINDER: On the part where she says to use "control f" if you use "Windows" but on a Mac you will need to use "command f" to find the <head> tag.  Let me know if it worked for you and that you are happy to finally have your Blogger blog verified by Pinterest.

    1. Deb,
My blog was verified, but I do not see the little "pin it" or "p" button on my blog or near my post like I see it on your. Am I missing something here?
Also I like how you have your intro on your Pinterest profile...I modeled mine after yours...hope you don't mind...

    2. Yeah Crystal! I am so glad you were verified and I do not mind at all that you modeled yours after mine. Thank you for the compliment! The little "pin it" button is another post in itself isn't it? Maybe I can do that one later on this week. I can recommend going here and trying to do it yourself if you are comfortable with HTML? http://www.spiceupyourblog.com
      ENJOY!

  4. Yeah! Thank you so much. I worked for the longest time to get that little button at the front of my blog. This was so easy. Love it when it works.

    Great idea.

    Happy President's Day.

P.S. Can you help me learn how to add my signature with a link when I add comments to blogs? Can't tell you how many times I have tried that! Just can't seem to figure out where to put it so I can get it easily...

  5. Thanks. When I tried it, I received an error tag about my meta tag not having a closing tab.

I did not have a meta end-tag from my pinterest meta tag, so I'm not sure what to do.

    Thanks,
