New Blogs and Bloggy Friends!!!

This week was both exciting and challenging for me as I closed down my classroom for the year and had a beautiful new face put on my Fabulously First blog.  I started TpT and blogging at the end of January and I haven't regretted it one time since it all began.  I see a lot of blogs each day and I am growing by leaps and bounds as I work with some of the best teachers on TpT and you all know who you are!

I would like to thank Barbara from Ruby Slippers Blog Designs for creating my blog and making it so fresh, new and exciting.  I would also like to thank all of my "Top Teachers" bloggy peeps (and guys) for taking me under their wings and teaching me a lot more then I ever expected to learn about blogging.  It is so much fun to blog and now I have a new blog that is exciting and inviting and I have fun bloggy friends that I talk to every single day that keep me moving!

My Military Men! Thank You For Serving!!!

I am a very proud Military Mom and words cannot express my gratitude for you honoring your calling to serve your country.  I also know that I am a very blessed Military Mom because I have both of you in my life and I wasn't presented a flag in your honor.  Today as you celebrate please remember the "why" of your celebration and that "Freedom Is Not Free"!  I love you both very much!!  MOM

"BOOM" Dolch Sight Word Game

Finally, after a week of being so busy wrapping up the last weeks of school I found time to create something I have been wanting to make.  My kids love when we play the "BOOM" game and now they have a new one.  It is in my TpT store, so take a look by clicking on the image above.

"My Bucket List" for Summer and Throwback Thursday

Join "Throwback Thursday" click above

This is an OLD post from last summer when we did a linky party on our summer bucket list.  Wow!  In just a year my blogging experiences have come a LONG way!  I am glad to be a part of the Throwback Thursday with Cara over at The First Grade Parade!

Click on the picture above to go to the Linky Party!
My "Bucket List" is going to be short and sweet because I want to spend time with my two precious grandchildren.  The picture below is something I saw on Pinterest and I am going to purchase it for them to go in their rooms so they will have a light in their room that they can touch.  Click on the picture below if you want to see this light on the internet.

Found this cute table at a local store and am going to try to make my own in our wood shop and find the chalk paper to put on top of it.

I am changing my classroom to a polka dots theme so I need to find a place where this is NOT so expensive.

Since I have four sons I wanted to try to make this during the summer for each one of them to hang in their house but change the shape inside the frame to something different for each one of them.

I have always wanted to take all of my crayons at the end of the year and create something with them so this is something I am going to try; recycle crayons into something useful and fun.

That's it, the end of my "bucket list"!

My Teacher Appreciation Week So Far!

I came in Monday morning and Aspen and her Mom surprised me with a warmly decorated door with lots of flowers and inspiring messages for my classroom.

Then wonderfully delicious Teacher Appreciation Snacks started appearing on my desk.  Which one of these yummy things do you think I got into first?  On Tuesday we had our lunch brought to us by Giorgio's in Cumming, GA by Constantine himself!!  Lunch was delicious.....
